YEAH BABYZZZ !

im like back from COSI, which im not exactly happy abt :l

okay so im like gna blog one WHOLE LONG POST, as in REALLY REALLY LONG one (: cause i really love COSI alot (:


day 1:

we have just arrived in cambodia and we first went to eat beef stew and coconut ice cream and it's DELICIOUS! then we sit our trusty truck to go get some stuff we forgot (: and ivee has a love for finding nemo and starts acting out e whole show X) hahahaha. we have a good laugh while waiting :D then we finally start on our way to COSI, and it's a BUMPY RIDE i assure you. plus we see skinny cows [siq's species XD ] everywhere and we thought they were goats or smth XD haahah. and siq cant tell e difference btwn a goat and a cow -.- but it's alright. cause e cows there arent black and white but brown (: so we get to COSI, and e kids are like playing soccer, which is wat they do everyday :D and they help us move our luggage, boxes etc etc. SO HELPFUL (: then we have lunch at COSI for the first time, and e food is quite okay compared to wat the villagers have so im fine (: then we proceed to pom somroung with some of the COSI youths that joined us for our prayer walk and before we do that, the team + COSI youths form a circle and start praying for like 15 mins ++ for the land of cambodia and especially for the village pom somroung. and also for VBS because the commune chief doesnt allow us to carry out VBS in the village and mak yun went to persuade the commune chief. then we go off in small teams and im teamed up with siq and veasna, a COSI youth that's really pretty (: and we pray for our first family (: YAYEE. then we meet somaan tt idiot who likes to shua3 bao3 hahahaha. and we take lots of pictures. we even stand in the railway track pretending that we're gna get knocked down by a train anytime. then we see veasna's hometown tt's really really far away so we go back to our original place and head back for COSI in time for vesper. vesper's really interesting because all the kids gather and start singing songs without any instruments or program to sing wat or wdv. they just have like drums [not drum kit but traditional drums] that the youths hit along and then as they finish one song someone starts singing another song and they all join in. they really worship the Lord in spirit and in truth and also wholeheartedly. not like in fl where ppl stone all e time >.< color="#ff0000" size="5">NO kids at all and we're like WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT ? oh my tian. it was like such a big blow so we started praying and praying and praying and we start seeing more parents bring their kids in (: and it turned out to be a fair number so we're fine. then the skit and the games are okaaaay. and dur craft we realised we forgot to bring the wool which so happens to be the most impt thing of the whole craft so improvise and get them to write their names. but the kids are like really STONE. i guess they probably havent warmed up yet :l and the salvation call is like so disappointing because no one actually raised their hands the first time charis called until someone raised when charis called for the 2nd and 3rd time and then the rest raised together due to peer pressure i think. so this is freaking discouraging for the team can ! ): so we go back, a little down and rest and prepare and PRAY for the next day's VBS because apparently we got news that the commune chief thought that VBS was only one day tts why he allowed it. so mak yun and mother carol has gone to persuade him AGAIN. and we pray hard that VBS will be allowed to continue tmr. then we help charbao with the money bags and have a fun time ? hahaa. vesper is rather distracting cause today i got to know some ppl better and they are distracting me [ahem ahem ahem]. hahahaha. then there's dinner and interaction where the kids are making fun of me calling me GIGIP [meaning old woman] and i suppose they are gna call me that for the rest of the days im at COSI. hahahaha. it's a fun bonding time and then there's debrief and sleep.



day 3:

GOOD NEWS! we're allowed to continue VBS! (: apparently the commune chief was holding a grudge that he didnt get hampers when the police chief got hampers. and the team's like laughing hilariously at him and -.- ing him hahahahaha ! it's like damn funny can XDD hahaha anw, we were really suprised when we got down from our trusty truck cause we saw ALOT more ppl and we're like YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! and the kids arent stone today la ! they're like freaking enthu! (((((: and salvation call they raised their hands the first time and im like YAYYYYYYYYYYYY again. then we all gather to pray for a blind girl and you can really see the holy spirit working in the kids and everyone else (: yea (: it totally rocks (: hmmm. then we went back, rest, and vesper and interaction. oh you know, all the normal stuff that we probably have gotten used to (:

day 4:
yea so today's e last day of VBS. and when we got down e truck we looked at the number of ppl there and im like WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT ! there were still so many ytd! so i hoped that more ppl wld come, and more did ((: they came in their bikes with parents or walked here (((: PRAISE THE LORD! hahaha. but then we started experiencing spiritual warfare. charis felt paralysed? we forgot our backdrop. jake forgot his robe. i was like WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT ! again, and of course in my heart there's a big OH NO. like OH MY TIAN. wat's happening ? i thought we prayed for the smooth running of the closure of VBS and all this happens? it's like BAM in your face la. ): but well, all that's well ends well. it turned out better than expected? we used ben as pig and charlene as cow :DDD during the skit it was like, jake forgot to wear the singlet inside. so when he turned poor, kevin just threw out the singlet and he just wore it over in front of everyone and the kids all laughed (: that's good la. shows that they're enjoying it (((: oh oh oh. and there was when kevin pushed joel away to get stuff and joel stumbled but immediately got back on attention position. the team was laughing until damn bad la X) because abit the way joel did it was like so natural like he had been a bouncer since the dawn of time or smth lidat :DDD so basically the skit was super successful cause the kids really enjoyed it ((: then we did the chicken dance and that weird side back front dance :DDD i didnt do it, AS USUAL, cause im like taking video and pictures ma (: PAPARAZZI MA ! :DDD poor me. didnt get to enjoy e fun :DD hahaha. but it's okay. i had fun watching too (: then e games was dodgeball i think. the kids were having quite a bit of fun la :DDD keep screaming and everything. hahahaha. SO YES! VBS HAD A SUCCESSFUL CLOSURE! then we went back, and yes, time to prac for YEP hahaha. so yea we prac-ed and showed the COSI kids the mime. abit dur the mime they kept laughing at all of us esp MEE and they kept trying to distract me la >.<>THANKS (((: then abit everybody was wondering why i cried :DDD oops. paiseh :DD then i still danced. even though my elbow and knee was OUCH x_x hahaha. but it was fine la. then diane [g] came over say i dance v nice :DDDD YAAYYYYY. alot of ppl say i dance nicest ! :DDD okay ego. sorry :x hahaha. then it started raining really heavily until it almost flooded the whole of MPH hahahah. then everyone had fun dancing in the rain and disco-ing in the MPH with the LOUD BOOMING MUSIC :DDD so after that basically just lots of rest cause have no vesper, then dinner and interaction and debrief and sleep (: YAY YEP SUCCEEDED (:

day 6:
service day. i realised i had to share, but i didnt prepare anything for testimony .. like plot out my points or anything. so i just went up there impromptu :x then judy said after i shared 2 corinthians i started sharing smth totally new. oops. sorry :x then the whole day is like SLACK. i went around talking to everyone. and stoned at the playground for VERY VERY VERY LONG. then i learnt alot of new games (((: those stupid trick games one hahahaha. damn hilarious. cause im like si slow at this kind of stuff, so obviously i took damn long to figure out. wait. correction. i didnt figure out. ppl told me the answer :x that's why i know :x hee hee ^^ not my fault im slow ^^; ya. no vesper. whole day was interaction so there. okay. but at night many terrible things happened. ivee started crying because of AHEM things, jake had to be hospitalised. and it's like BAM in my face cause i have absolutely NO IDEA wat just happened. so im like argh. i didnt cry though. i just felt like, WHAAAT! this is probably abit too much of spiritual warfare for O.F. to take la. haiya. OVER (:

day 7:
going out day! and abit i have no money ): then i exploited ben X))) and used up half of his money :xx BUT EVERYTHING I BOUGHT WAS FOR THE COSI KIDS LEH! SEE IM SO NICE X)) hahaha. basically we went to pick jake up from hospital! ((: he felt much better ((: yay. then we went out shopping at the russian market. it was FANTABULOUS! i bought alot of stuff for the COSI kids hahaha ((: 50 sing considered alot ? :DD to me, YES. hahahaha :DD but i was willing so okay (: then we went to the genocide museum and i saw SKULLS. haha. real skulls and pictures of the dead ppl. ALOT CAN ! and i saw how they were being tortured. like wat instruments of torture are used and all. and im like WHAT THE TOOT TOOT TOOT TOOT TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT! damn cruel can ): then khmer rougue is like damn cruel la. wna hear the 10 rules over there? show you.

1. you must answer accordingly to my questions. do not turn them away.
2. do not try to hide the facts by making pretexts of this and that. you are strictly prohibited to contest me.
3. do not be a fool for you are a chap who dares to thwart the revolution.
4. you must immediately answer my questions without wasting time to reflect.

super idiotic la ): but the museum wasnt very scary la. quite okay.
ate dinner outside cause COSI didnt cook our share. mother carol treated us (((:
on the van ride back there was that game of sucratic questioning la :DDD i wasnt rather involved. rather left out. hahaha. nvm la. i nv really felt belonging to the team many times alr.
then went back and made use of time to give presents and letters (:
but then, had debrief like almost straight away. so ):
then they actually waited up for me to talk to me and pass me stuff! >.< SO SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET !
they risk their lives getting scolded by the staff to stay up la! >.< SO SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET !
then like kinal and diane [b] they straight away wore their bracelets after i gave them and they took pictures with alot of ppl with the bracelets on >.<>GOODBYE COSI. TILL WE MEET AGAIN SOOOOOON )):
